Using the “What” Skills:
PARTICIPATE
Participation is about awareness. About being completely present when engaging in an activity.
Example: When learning something new,; like riding a bike, you are often forced into participating with awareness. You focus and notice your balancing, the back and forth repetion of the legs and feet to pedal.
Example: While eating, participate and be completely aware of what the food is: smell and taste of it; the way it feels in your mouth and hands.
By participating with awareness, we can be in the moment which allows us to step back from our routine lives and our thoughts to be totally aware that we are alive in this moment and we are okay right now in this moment.
