Ok, I'm not a beauty guru folks, I'm just a run of the mill mom of 2 and housewife. Nothing special here except my kids, hubby and fur babies.
Okay, I lie....my cooking can be pretty awesome at times...Haha!
So, I do this thing called Crowdtap. I answer questions and sometimes I get an opportunity, if picked, to do sampling and sometimes I get full sizes, small sizes, and stuff to share with others. I must say, it's pretty awesome. I don't get paid in money for any of this but I do get the product which is cool. I don't have to do this blog post, but I feel it's needed sometimes or wanted so I do. However, I do at times get chosen in random drawings at the end of the month for gift cards for either special stores like Target, Wal-mart or even Amazon and Restaurant.com. In all honestly, check them out!
Now, to the actual post...This about the Herbal Essences body wash line. They revamped it for us and I was lucky enough to get a little slice of this heaven to try out. So, I put it to the test this past week.
After gardening/yard work, babysitting an infant, 1 1/2 year old & 5 year olds, wrestling muddy dogs, deep cleaning a house, taking down a pool, cleaning that pool (filled with black ick & green algea & Lord knows what else (EEWW), putting together said pool by myself, and last but definitely not least, cooking/baking.....I put this to the test!
While I was a bit rattled after each endeavor, here are my opinions about the Herbal Essences body wash:
Good luck folks and Herbalistas everywhere!

While I was a bit rattled after each endeavor, here are my opinions about the Herbal Essences body wash:
- The smell did not have me relaxing a bit. I'm allergic to coconut and this stuff smells just like the little milk filled suckers. I'm not a fan of it so that was not too pleasant for me.
- As for the bubbles, it lathered up very well. As well I would say as my more expensive brands I've paid for in the malls and boutiques.
- This one is called "Hello Hydration" and is suppose to help a little with that and I feel it did not. It was on par with others that claim this. It was fine up until an hour out of the shower. (I pat my skin dry to let my skin absorb as much water as it can) My skin tends to be extra dry usually so I don't know if this is a factor so bear that in mind.
- I did not receive any coupons for this sample to go out and purchase any more of it if I liked it which is fine with me. I have been a bit more conscientious of it since starting this tho. If I see a commercial I'm reminded of this sample opportunity or if I'm shopping my daughter says "Isn't that the stuff you got in the mail mommy?".
- I will tell you that I do keep eyes on prices and compared to others like this product, price wise, this is the better value! It's $3.47 at Wal-mart and very often I can find a coupon for $1.00 off or even 0.75 off a bottle of this which makes it worth it in the Sunday newspaper circulars or online. And, if you like this brand or like the smell, go a wholesale clubs like BJs (my favorite because they accept manufacturer coupons AND their coupons TOGETHER!!) and pick up a HUGE bottle for a fraction of the price with coupons and sales!
Good luck folks and Herbalistas everywhere!
