With this recipe, from my Nana, there will be no need for syrup. The waffles come out moist, sweet and fluffy. It sounds weird when you see the ingredients, but please, just try it once is all I ask: if you don't like it, then don't make it again; if you do like it, by all means, make, eat, enjoy and share. It's a lot healthier than if you bought the store brand with all it's additives and it's fresh-not frozen.

- 3 eggs, whipped
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 stick melted butter/margarine
- pinch of salt
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 - 8oz container of sour cream
- 1/2 tsp cumin or vanilla extract
- up to 2 cups of milk to use if mix is too thin
- Pre-heat waffle iron
- Mix all ingredients and add milk to thin out as desired
- Pour into waffle iron and enjoy!
